Dr Hongbo Xie

Hong-Bo Xie is a Research Fellow on Distinguished Professor Kerrie Mengersen’s ARC Australian Laureate Fellowship: Bayesian Learning for Decision Making in the Big Data Era and an Associate Investigator at ACEMS, QUT. Previously he was a Vice-Chancellor’s Senior Reserach Fellow at QUT

He received his Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China. He has published over 70 research papers incluidng book chapters, peer reviewed journal and conference papers. His research interests include statistical/Bayesian signal processing, machine learning, biomedical signal/image processing, human-machine interface, tensor analysis, and complex system sciences and chaos theory.
