When: Thursday 19th January 2017, 13:00-14:00.
Included in meeting:
This Thursday is our first official BRAG meeting for 2017. We have James McBroom and Paul Wu presenting this fortnight.
James will talk about Bayesian statistical inference and will share with us his experience teaching Bayesian stats.
Paul will be presenting the findings from the study “Timing anthropogenic stressors to maximise resilience of marine ecosystems”. He will talk about inferencing in state space models (Markov models, BNs, DBNs). It will cover the basics to classic sum-product and clustering methods.
We look forward to seeing you there!
